After more than 30 years working in the process of social transformation with the dalit community (untouchables) in Anantapur, about two million persons are today benefitting from the project that the Vicente Ferrer Foundation carries out in the area. 

Through the Cybermarathon, we want to include in our programmes of development the members of the backward cast, a very modest community also in a clear situation of marginality.

If the Vicente Ferrer Foundation succeed in supporting 10.000 children, they will be in fact able to assist in the development of 50.000 persons. Indeed, the monthly contribution of 18 euros per children is not assigned directly to the supported child, because the organisation understands taht his progress can not be isolated and should be part of the progress of the family and their environment. Supports means to reach the community collaborating in their process of transformation.
