Our founder, Ami Dar, recently gave a commencement address to the 2011 graduates of the City University of New York’s School of Professional Studies.

It was a special day for Ami – his first graduation of any kind. From the time he was three, Ami says, “my mother had to fight me every day to get me to go to school (or in the direction of school).” Since he knew his mom would have loved seeing him up onstage, he decided to pay tribute to her and to the lessons she taught him.
