On March 5 at Restaurant Set Portes we have presented the 60th edition of the International Music Competition Maria Canals de Barclona. The competition will welcome 88 participants from 26 different countries. The presentation ceremony was headed by Mariona Carulla, president of the competition and representatives from the Generalitat (Catalan Governement) and from the Barcelona City Council. Artist Frederic Amat introduced his artwork commemorating the 60th edition of the competition. The Competition will offer more than 70.000 euros in prices (in cash and recitals) and has organized more than 200 recitals around the city. All citizens will be able to enjoy the grand pianos that will be in different public places all around the city.
