We are proud to announce "Web Awards for Km 0 Projects" that offers the winner a chance to create a modern web page, design, and visual identity. The call is open to civil society organizations that promote local development, sustainable communities, and healthier living conditions. We wish to help organizations to take advantage of the opportunities offered by the Internet and improve their online visibility and quality of work. The prize has been endowed by Silvia Bau, who has a great passion to make the textile sector more sustainable and local.
Non-profit organizations and social economy entities that work in the field of local development and sustainability are eligible to apply for Web Award. Applications will be evaluated by an interdisciplinary group and after the primary election, each organization will have a chance to present itself. After the consultations with every organization, the deciding panel will select the winner that will receive an award that includes the creation of the website as well as web-design and programming.
Besides the website, a winning organization will also have a chance to host their website on our Abcore Cadí platform for the period of 3 years, receive a training on website administration, and learn more about web communication tools such as newsletters, events, news, etc., user support and project assessment.
The costs of these services are assumed by iWith.org until the year 2021, thanks to the generous contributions of Sílvia Bau and iWith.org Team.
