Continue reading Taking part in the Social Internet Day 2016!

Last Wednesday 28th September we had the opportunity to participate and explain the mission of iWith.org at the Social Internet Day 2016. The event, which was organised by Xarxa Punt TIC (a Catalan organisation aimed at widening access to ICT), focused on debate about new tools, opportunities and strategies for innovation in the digital world and also in the working one. Based on these areas, experience of the following fields was shared:

1) Strategies for developing youth employability

2) New models of the sharing and exchange economies

3) Designing and programming the professional future. Programming and robotics

The technological meeting took place in the Mobile World Centre, located between Plaza Cataluña and Portal del Ángel in Barcelona. During the day, we learned about interesting projects in the collaborative field like the app Kune, MindConnex or the work of the Digital Fabrication Labs in Barcelona.

In this short time of communication, iWith.org was able to share its experience and background in the field of ICT and society with more than 100 participants at the event. Our mission is to help non-profit organisations on the internet with everything which is related to our field. Where we can assist the NGOs and Third Sector organisations, that is where we will be.
