The African Council of Religious Leaders -Religions for Peace (ACRL-RfP) and the Global Network of Religions for Children (GNRC) under the project “ Dignifying Childhood” facilitated implementation of a number of activities in several African countries to mark the World Day of Prayer and Action for Children (DPAC). The activities were centered on the theme, “Stop Violence Against Children”. Participating countries included: Kenya, Ethiopia, Democratic Republic of Congo, Liberia and Somalia. The Liberian Council of Churches in collaboration with the African Council of Religious Leaders-Religions for Peace the Global Network of Religions for Children (GNRC) organized and celebrated the World International Day of Prayer and Action for Children in Rural Montserrado County, Todee District, Liberia, hosted by the Gwee Town Presbyterian Church. six (6) Churches, namely: The host, Gwee Town Presbyterian Church, Praise and Deliverance Ministry, United Methodist Church, The Lutheran Church, Wesleyan Church, and the International Bible Church, participated in the celebrations.

An Ethics Education Workshop using the Learning to Live Together (LTLT) Manual was organized for the first time on 22th October, 2011 in Chennai , India, by Navadisha Montessori School.
