Arigatou International organized a Round Table on the theme “Potentials and Pitfalls in Interfaith Cooperation for and with Children” to learn from the combined experience of the international guests in Japan for Myochikai’s 60th anniversary.
The preferential use of one hand over the other to perform certain tasks is a feature that reflects the functional division of the brain in the execution of a series of tasks. These findings are especially important from an evolutionary point of view and could explain the emergence of language or technology when this feature is present in humans.

Representatives of about 60 Arigatou International partners and supporters from around the world were invited to Japan to participate in commemorative events on 11 and 12 October for the 60th anniversary of Myochikai, the Buddhist movement that established Arigatou International in 1990. Religious leaders, adult and youth members of the Global Network of Religions for Children (GNRC), and members of the Planning Committee for the World Day of Prayer and Action for Children and of the Interfaith Council on Ethics Education joined around 12,000 Japanese guests for the celebrations.
