Continue reading New Postraduate Course on Communitarian Intervention and Resoultion of Public Conflicts by the Universidad de Girona

The postgraduate course’s aim is to offer its pupils the theoretical knowledge and experience necessary to be able to intervene in a conflict and know how to tackle and manage it. They will also need to know the reasons of the conflict and its impact on the social system as well as the role of the different entities and organizations implied. At the end of the course the pupils will be able to intervene as professionals in communitarian and public conflicts.
The course is semipresential and will start next Octobre the 17th and finish the 4th of July of 2009. There will be 226 teaching hours equivalent to 21.5 credits and it costs 1,300 euro.
The sessions will take place on Fridays from 17 to 21 and on Saturdays from 10 to 14 and from 15.30 to 19.30.

The following are the entities collaborating in this Postgraduate course organized by the Universidad de Girona: Departament d’Interior, Relacions institucionals i Participació, el Departament de Governació i Administracions Públiques; el Departament d’Acció Social i Ciutadania; la Federació de Municipis de Catalunya; l' Associació Catalana de Municipis i Comarques; l'Ajuntament de Girona; el Consell Comarcal del Pla de l’Estany, Fundació Iwith.org, Responsabilitat Global, and the Federació Catalana del Voluntariat Social.
