Xarxanet.org provides international information of Catalans NGOs on activities and best practices of associations, through their Castilian, English and French versions. Iwith.org manages subportales Xarxanet.org of Civil Society, a site created by and for civil society, the most visited sections of Xarxanet in June. The number of visits they received shows the interest that exists in the world of associations, to know best practices and opportunities for international presence in the world.
This July 10,
XARXANET the portal of Associationism and Volunteering de Catalunya turned 5 years. During this time, the website has received over 646,558 visits by users and it has grown to currently become the main portal on civil society in Catalonia.
The network of voluntary associations in Catalonia, was promoted by the Department of Family Welfare and the Generalitat of Catalonia 2003. Currently, the portal is conditional upon the Ministry of Governance and Public Administration, and provides:
* 9 portals with advisory services for various entities;
* 12 portals with different subject areas related to the voluntary sector and volunteerism.
In addition,
xarxanet.org has:
* Bimonthly newsletter called A l'Abast (you can choose between a weekly or fortnightly newsletter);
* A section of Opinion Articles;
* And also an agenda for subsidizing new entrants.

Iwith.org manages the portal of civil society in English, French and Spanish as well as that of foreign projects, in Catalan.
