DIOM ja és en obert i accessible per tots els públics

DIOM lleva 6 meses de “tournée”. Desde su estreno el pasado enero, el documental sobre la creación de la cooperativa Diomcoop, se ha proyectado en todos los distritos de Barcelona, y en otras ciudades de la región; ha sido programado en varias entidades como Espai Societat Oberta, Fundació Ideograma y ECOS, entre otras; en Casals de barri y asociaciones de vecinas y también ha formado parte de la programación de festivales muy queridos, como lo son el BRAM! y hace tan solo unos días, el Barcelona Creative Commons Festival (BccN).

En suma, unas 20 proyecciones, siempre acompañadas de coloquios con los socios de Diomcoop y la directora del docu, Lucía Andújar. A lo largo de estas sesiones, DIOM ha ido creciendo. Sus 30 minutos de duración han ido dilatándose, enriqueciéndose el relato con las conversaciones que, sesión tras sesión, se han tenido con el público. Muchas preguntas, reflexiones, debates y aprendizajes han hecho que ahora, DIOM ya no sea más una pieza audiovisual, sino la pieza que ha dado pie a una manera de explicarnos. Como proyecto en conjunto, entre Diomcoop y Quepo, entre nosotras.

La guinda del BccN ha sido clave. Un festival hecho para liberarnos, para compartirnos, para combatir juntas las censuras, los discursos de intolerancia, la represión. Este año, con DIOM hemos formado parte de su décima edición, expresión de ese movimiento imparable de la cultura que, como dicen ellos, nunca deja de transformarse, siempre viva, pasando de unas a otras. Este año hemos debatido sobre el valor de las imágenes en nuestro tiempo como herramientas de cambio y hemos reafirmado la importancia de continuar creando aquellas que siguen faltando. Porque estamos convencidas de que la denuncia ha de ir acompañada de la representación de nuevos imaginarios.

Por todo esto y por muchas otras cosas, hoy decidimos que DIOM ha de pasar al dominio público. Una historia pequeña que nos abre un nuevo paradigma, avanzando en la propuesta de otras realidades posibles. Narrada en primera persona, la historia de Diomcoop es una invitación a nuevas preguntas y a nuevas respuestas ante la inaceptable situación de irregularidad de las personas.

Os invitamos a ver este documental, a compartirlo con todo el mundo, a comentarlo con vuestros vecinos y vuestras familias y a acercárselo a todas aquellas personas que creáis que no han tenido la oportunidad de preguntarse: ¿por qué?

Adaptation of the Learning Live Together Programme: Pilots in Bucharest and San Salvador

A series of pilot workshops with young children are being held in different parts of the world, as part of the two-year process to adapt the Learning to Live Together Programme to middle childhood years. After reaching 70 children in Kenya and Portugal, two new workshops were held in Romania and El Salvador.

Consultative Meeting in Lausanne, for the Multi-Religious Study on the Contributions of Religious Communities to the Convention on the Rights of the Child

On November 20, 2019, the international community will mark the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC30), the most comprehensive treaty on the rights of children which has been ratified by virtually all UN Members States.

The enormous success of the CRC has resulted in numerous laws being enacted including national constitutions, and policies, programs, and budgets being adopted that benefit children. It has also spurred notable achievements in health, education and child protection all of which have improved the lives of all children in many parts of the world.

For this occasion, Arigatou International, in close collaboration with the Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General on Violence against Children (SRSG) has initiated a Study from a multi-religious perspective with experts on child rights, religious leaders and scholars that includes a review of the CRC since its adoption. The Study is also being developed in collaboration with UNICEF and other key partners.

Thanks to this help, our organization has been able to incorporate one more worker into the workforce.

 

Co-financed by the 'La Caixa' Banking Foundation and the 'European Social Fund', this program provides direct aids for organizations to generate stable and quality youth employment.

The initiative aims to contribute to the reduction of unemployment among young people, between 16 and 29 years old, enrolled in the National Youth Guarantee System.

The objective is that this aid plan is an incentive for hiring a group that has suffered especially with the crisis: young people. Offering them facilities so that they can enter the labor market and give them confidence in their abilities to build a better future.

With this new incorporation we have reinforced the technical team increasing the quality of the support to the users that manage and update the websites of the non-profit projects.
