A Basic Training Workshop on the Learning to Live Together (LTLT) Programme was conducted in Coimbatore, India from 19 to 20 March 2018 by Shanti Ashram, bringing together 34 teachers from 17 institutions.

As a lead up to the 2018 Malta High-Level Global Conference that took place in June, Arigatou International Geneva co-sponsored an event on 24 May 2018 together with the Working Group on Children and Violence. The Working Group gathers a number of NGOs in Geneva under the umbrella of Child Rights Connect, to promote actions that prompt violence prevention strategies and protect children who are vulnerable.

Canva, the tool that makes graphic design for content available to all NGOs, offers a recent version in Spanish to make it even easier to work and avoid confusion that the portal can produce in English.
 

Canva is the tool that makes graphic design for content available to all NGOs. We spoke about it in this March 2016 article: Canva for Nonprofits, a graphic design tool for NGOs.

Well, Canva now offers a recent version in Spanish, to make it even easier to work and avoid confusion that may occur to many people with the portal in English. Therefore we update the links of that article and we present them here: Canva in Spanish; Canva for Nonprofits in Spanish. The registration form to Canva is also in Spanish.
 
From the organization they have worked "very hard to create content in this language so that all our users feel welcome from the beginning," says Maria Fernanda, Canva team.


In addition to the home pages with the new version, there are also very interesting features that are now available in Spanish. Some of them are: to create images for social networks; or the photo editor; the tools for graphics are also in Spanish; materials and tools for teachers; as well as to create reports.
 
Canva and iWith coincide in a part of our missions helping NGOs take advantage of the opportunities offered by the Internet. We hope that with these advances, organizations can improve your work even more.

Posem el fre de mà: bones vacances!

Per fi, arriba l’agost!
Avui, ens obliguem a posar el fre de mà i baixem la persiana. Marxem de vacances!!!

Descansarem unes setmanes per tornar amb les energies ben renovades i afrontar amb alegria l’últim trimestre d’aquest 2018.

A la tornada, ens esperen unes setmanes potents: L’Associa’t a la festa 2018 es celebrarà a la Plaça Catalunya del 22 al 24 de setembre, en el marc de les festes de la Mercè. Aquest any hi ha moltes novetats… el Joaco i l’Alba s’han encarregat de documentar tot el procés. Dies abans de la festa a la plaça, podrem veure i conèixer com funciona la creació de la campanya participativa; mostrant tot el procés intern, allò que no es veu i posant cara a totes les persones que ho fan possible. Un luxe. Us avisarem del dia i el lloc, no us preocupeu

La Mostra de Cinema SalutDretsAcció comença a escalfar motors (bé, a hores d’ara els motots ja han arrencat), després de vacances ja us podrem explicar totes les novetats de l’edició d’aquest any: pel·lis, repors, debats crítics… i sobre Quorum Global, només dir-vos que us apunteu a l’agenda els dies 19, 20 i 21 d’octubre i marqueu un lloc al mapa: Màlaga!!!

El documental sobre l’experiència de DIOMCoop tancarà la última fase de postproducció i KN60lab obrirà de nou les portes a la Rambla del Raval (ho sabeu que tenen una web on podeu veure com han treballat fins ara? visiteu-la!).

A tot plegat, hi sumarem molts altres projectes que us anirem explicant amb molta il·lusió. Comunicació, participació, estratègia, vídeo social, sensibilització… de tot, però, de moment, ens reservem el misteri.

Ja ho veieu, ens espera una tardor xula. Prometem mantenir-vos-en ben informades!

Ara sí, esperem que acabeu de passar molt bon estiu, mooolt bones vacances (si encara ens esteu llegint des de la feina o bé si ja ho feu des de la platja).
