Demà dimecres presenten la nova versió de l'aplicació que estarà disponible tan per iOS com Android. La nova app mantindrà la essència del compartir.
Poques vegades una empresa emprenedora en el camp tecnològic que vol fomentar noves formes econòmiques, reconeix haver-se equivocat en el plantejament inicial. El món de les apps és molt efímer i va molt lligat a la promoció que se'n realitza. La gent utilitza les apps compulsivament, i molt poques vegades s'implanten en la tradició del nostre ús.
Bloomfits és una app que va néixer aquest mateix 2014 de la mà d'uns gironins, i què pretenia establir una xarxa d'intercanvis. Intercanviar materials, objectes, coneixements... i oferir-los! Aquest era l'objectiu inicial de l'aplicació. Però sembla ser que la idea no ha quallat gaire, i ara toca re-inventar-se.
La mateixa empresa gironina ha dissenyat una nova aplicació en la qual vol facilitar la creació de la xarxa de demandants i millorar el sistema de compartir els objectes o coneixements. Per a fer-ho han elaborat una aplicació totalment nova que estarà disponible demà dimecres. La versió antiga de Bloomfits deixarà de funcionar per tal què la gent s'instal·li la nova versió.
Bloomfits pot servir per a les entitats a elaborar una xarxa d'intercanvis de coneixements i objectes. De tots es sabut el poc pressupost de moltes entitats petites, i aquesta app pot ser una bona solució per obtenir el material per fer realitat els seus projectes.
L’aplicació per a mòbils intel·ligents i tabletes ArtAccés permet a persones amb discapacitat auditiva i visual seguir pel·lícules mitjançant la reproducció de subtítols o l’àudio descripció del film.
Mitjançant la captació del so fet a través d’una empremta digital acústica, ArtAccés sincronitza, en el minut i segon exacte, els subtítols o l’àudio descripció de qualsevol film projectat a les sales de cinema sobre la pantalla del dispositiu.
Actualment, el catàleg de l’app només recull dues pel·lícules, Món petit i Fill de Caín, però al llarg del 2014 s’inclouran nous títols disponibles.
Desenvolupada pel Departament de Cultura, l’app és gratuïta, està disponible per iOS i Google Play, i pot ser utilitzada en qualsevol lloc on es consumeixi contingut audiovisual. S’espera que, en un futur, també s’adapti a espectacles d’arts escèniques. Paral·lelament, també podria tenir altres usos com ara traduccions simultànies en diferents idiomes en una mateixa sala.
Actualment hi han app's que ajuden les entitats a rebre donatius. Altres aplicacions permeten fins i tot gestionar tot el procés.
D'ençà uns anys les entitats sense ànim de lucre estan canviant la concepció de rebre ingressos. Avui en dia s'ha implementat el concepte del “fundraising” com una alternativa fiable perquè el tecer sector tiri endavant. I amb l'ajuda de les plataformes en línia, i els dispositius per connectar-nos a Internet, les entitats poden rebre aquests tipus de finançament.
Aquesta setmana, al blog del Mobile World Capital Barcelona, s'ha publicat una entrada de la Susana Font on detalla unes quantes app's, que poden ajudar a les entitats per aconseguir donacions. Totes elles són per Android, ja que Apple veta les app's de “fundraising”. Segons el mateix article, Apple no es vol responsabilitzar amb els pagaments que no arribin al destinatari.

Aquesta xarxa social ha publicat una nova actualització amb aquesta novetat important. Existeix un punt controvertit sobre aquesta actualització.
Sembla ser que a cada actualització la xarxa social visual Instagram, ens acostuma a portar alguna novetat important. L'anterior més significativa, va ser la incorporació de vídeos. Ara li toca a la possibilitat d'enviar fotos i vídeos a diferents usuaris.
El procés és molt senzill. Si actualitzeu i entreu a l'aplicació, us sortirà, a la part superior, una icona semblant a una safata de documents. Al clicar-hi, podreu realitzar una fotografia o un vídeo i enviar-la a una persona que seguiu. També podreu utilitzar fotografies i vídeos ja realitzats. A part d'això, una característica de l'actualització és que aquestes fotografies o vídeos que envieu, les podreu enviar a persones que no seguiu. Això sí, aquest usuari, rebrà un avís per si accepteu aquest enviament.
Precisament això és un punt controvertit. El punt dèbil d'Instagram són els comentaris “spam” que rebeu contínuament. Suposadament hauran millorat la seguretat de l'aplicació, ja que sinó podeu estar rebent imatges no desitjades.
Amb Instagram Direct, les entitats podran enviar fotografies i vídeos als seus seguidors, voluntaris o socis. I fins i tot, els futurs socis!

El centre de terminologia TERMCAT, ha acceptat incloure la forma “app” en la seva base de dades de nous termes. Tot i ser una abreviació de “application”, “app” és una forma molt utilitzada a la vida quotidiana de les catalanes. El passat 24 de juliol ho van comunicar en públic.
TERMCAT ha decidit realitzar la fitxa terminològica corresponent al terme "app" i incloure el terme al recull “Terminologia bàsica de les xarxes socials”. Aquest recull és una bona eina per quan no sabem com escriure correctament una paraula de nivell tècnic, i més concretament en l'àmbit de la web 2.0. En cas de necessitar assessorament en aquest àmbit, podeu escriure un missatge i us respondran amb les indicacions corresponents.
Aquest terme, i els altres inclosos en el recull “Terminologia bàsica de les xarxes socials”, són molt utilitzats per les entitats de Catalunya. Motles vegades, en notes de premsa de les entitats, no se sap realment si es pot utilitzar o no aquests termes tan tecnològics. A partir d'ara, “app” ja es pot utilitzar.

Càritas diocesana de Girona va presentar el dissabte passat la seva aplicació per rebre microdonacions. Amb aquesta app, s'estableix un contacte més directe entre el donant i l'entitat.
Càritas diocesana de Girona va presentar el passat dissabte 8 de juny l'aplicació “Càritas app” amb l'objectiu de rebre més donacions. L'aplicació, que ha estat elaborada per Julio Estrela, permet realitzar microdonacions de un euro, cinc euros o catorze euros. Amb l'aplicació és contribueix a què projectes de Càritas es puguin desenvolupar amb total normalitat. A part de donacions, l'aplicació també permet difusionar necessitats materials d'urgència. Així un usuari també pot fer donatius materials.
Realitzar una app per tal de canalitzar microdonacions, és un recurs que en algunes entitats pot anar bastant bé. Normalment, els portals de microdonacions, poden limitar els projectes de l'entitat. Alguns portals, tenen uns filtres que fan alentir el procés de rebre donacions. Disposant d'una app pròpia, l'entitat pot informar de quins projectes necessiten donacions, material, i així interactuar amb els usuaris per cobrir aquestes necessitats.
L'aplicació de Càritas, de moment està disponible per a dispositius iOS, però en un futur estarà disponible també per a Android.

Aquesta aplicació pretén impulsar un mercat d'intercanvi d'objectes per a les necessitats dels usuaris. Amb el mapa que disposa l'aplicació també estem ajudant a intercanviar productes de proximitat, així evitem fer més consum de CO2.
En època de crisis, la gent busca solucions alternatives i realment efectives. Si els diners minven, no és sinònim de no poder consumir els objectes que necessitem. Existeixen altres formes sense haver de passar per la moneda o el bitllet, i aquestes són conegudes com a economies alternatives. Els bancs del temps i els mercats d'intercanvi en són un gran exemple. Si sumem que estem vivint en plena època de la Societat de la Informació i què les aplicacions per mòbil tenen un paper molt important, podem afirmar que un mercat d'intercanvi digital pot ser un èxit assegurat.
Lend Me, és una aplicació per dispositiu mòbil on podeu cercar objectes que us fan falta i de pas, també oferir altres objectes a la comunitat de l'aplicació. Així sí algun usuari necessita una eina, pot cercar-la, trobar la vostra i demanar-vos-la. L'aplicació també disposa d'un mapa per saber quin és l'objecte que està més a prop. Així es procura conscienciar la importància dels productes de proximitat, un concepte que no només està associat a la gastronomia sinó que també pot estar associat a altres aspectes de la vida quotidiana. Com a últim, s'ha de sumar que l'aplicació incorpora un servei de missatgeria perquè els usuaris contactin entre sí i així puguin agilitzar més els intercanvis.
L'aplicació va ser realitzada el 2012 per en Pau Francesc Borrell. De moment només està disponible per a dispositius iOS tot i què sembla ser que hi haurà versió per a Android en un futur no llunyà.

Aquesta aplicació per a iPad permet enviar la tradicional carta als reigs mags d'orient. Mitjançant aquest sistema molts infants residents a centres o que estiguin malalts poden enviar la seva carta als reis.
Poc a poc les noves tecnologies entren dins el complex sistema de tradicions. Les tradicions es mantenen però les formes poden canviar molt ràpid amb l'ajuda dels nous dispositius mòbils. Cada dia sorgeixen noves aplicacions que relacionades d'una manera o altre amb les tradicions, ens ajuden a ser fidels amb la nostra cultura popular. És així com a ha nascut ReisExpress, una aplicació per escriure la carta als reis mags i enviar-la per correu electrònic.
Aquesta aplicació, desenvolupada per Dauapps, és ben senzilla d'utilitzar. Un cop descarregada i instal·lada a l'iPad, l'aplicació ens preguntarà el nom del pare i la mare i el correu electrònic d'algun d'ells. Després ens preguntarà el nom de l'infant i a partir d'aleshores es podrà escriure la carta. A la carta hi podrem afegir fotografies o fins i tot dibuixos.
Aquesta aplicació pot ser molt útil per als infants que estan residint en centres de menors o també per els infants que en aquells moments estan malalts.

UNICEF Espanya i Samsung han desenvolupat una aplicació gratuïta de postals solidàries perquè els usuaris de smartphones i tauletes puguin felicitar el Nadal d’una forma diferent.
Felicitapp és una aplicació per a smartphones i tauletes tàctils que permet que els usuaris dissenyin una postal de Nadal combinant fons, objectes, personatges animats, música, etc.
L’aplicació neix com una evolució de les postals de Nadal que UNICEF comercialitza des de 1947. La venda de postals, però, no escapa als efectes de la crisi que, segons Andrés Conde, director de campanyes d’UNICEF Espanya, ha caigut un 15% en els darrers cinc anys.
En aquest sentit, l’aplicació vol compensar aquesta davallada tot modernitzant les postals tradicionals i permetent que l’usuari les enviï per correu electrònic als seus contactes.
L’usuari podrà crear les seves pròpies targetes dissenyant-les a partir de les diferents opcions que inclou l’aplicació:
Abans de compartir, l’aplicació ens donarà l’opció de donar 1,20€ a UINICEF que es destinaran íntegrament a l’entitat mitjançant l’enviament d’un SMS Premium.
Les aplicacions per a tauletes poden ajudar molt a les persones discapacitades. Aquesta recull, realitzat per la web “wwwhat's new”, mostra un seguit d'aplicacions molt útils per a les entitats que treballen amb aquest col·lectiu.
Les tauletes electròniques poden ajudar molt a les persones que pateixen certes discapacitats; fomentar el desenvolupament cognitiu, ajudar a escoltar més bé o a ajudar a veure-hi millor. L'ús d'aquestes eines és molt positiu, tal i com hem explicat en altres notícies. Moltes entitats que treballen amb aquest col·lectiu les utilitzen, però a vegades els hi falta descobrir-les.
La pàgina web “wwwhat's new”, especialitzada en publicar novetats relacionades amb el món d'Internet, va penjar la setmana passada un recull d'aplicacions per a tauletes que poden ser molt útils a les persones amb discapacitat. En total són 15 aplicacions, algunes de gratuïtes i altres de pagament. Aquestes aplicacions són molt variades; algunes són per persones amb problemes de oïda, altres per a persones amb problemes de visió i n'hi ha un parell per a persones amb problemes de cognició.
Totes aquestes aplicacions només estan disponibles per a tauletes iPad.

Més de 150 entitats del sector ja ens han enviat la seva resposta al qüestionari sobre el deute actual de les AAPP. El resultat fins ara és molt eloqüent: més de 200 milions d'euros de deute per part de totes les administracions públiques.
La Taula d'Entitats del Tercer Sector i la Confederació Unitat Empresarial del Tercer Sector, han decidit allargar el termini de resposta fins divendres per tal de donar més marge a les entitats per participar-hi.
Des del seu naixement, l'escàndol vinculat a les acusacions d'explotació laboral han acompanyat als productes d'èxit de la empresa Apple. Les condicions laborals que han d'assumir els treballadors de les fàbriques que produeixen aquest productes han estat denunciats en múltiples ocasions, arribant a moments d'escàndol quan la plantilla de la empresa fabricant va patir una onada de suïcidis.
Arran d'aquests fets, Apple va elaborar un pla que incloïa millores laborals en les seves fàbriques durant el 2011 (podeu consultar-ne el pdf, en anglès), amb la voluntat de millorar la qualitat de vida dels treballadors que elaboren els components del iPhone i del iPad.
Sembla, però, que aquest pla no ha tingut de moment l'efecte desitjat. El diari britànic The Guardian ens ha fet arribar un informe elaborat per les ONG Centre for Research on Multinational Corporations i Students & Scholars Against Corporate Misbehaviour (Sacom) que torna a denunciar quines son les condicions laborals en les fàbriques contractades per Apple a Taiwan, Xina. En les fàbriques de Shenzhen i Chengdu, propietat de Foxconn, hi treballen més de 500.000 persones. Aquestes persones han de treballar en un lloc on:
La jornada laboral és de 48 hores a la setmana.
El sou base és de 0,76 euros l'hora.
Per satisfer les demandes dels consumidors occidentals, els treballadors han de superar el límit de 36 hores extres al mes, fins a 98 hores extres mensuals.
Els treballadors son pressionats per gaudir d'un dia de descans cada 13 presones.
Els treballadors que facin malament la seva feina son humiliats públicament.
Els treballadors han hagut de firmar una clausula en que es comprometien a no suicidar-se.
Els treballadors viuen en dormitoris col·lectius compartits entre 24 persones
Per aquest motiu les dues ONG han llençat la campanya Time to bit into a fair Apple!
