The preinscription deadline for the 63rd Maria Canals Competition was closed on December 20.
Approximately 200 pianists from around the world have applied to participate to the competition which will be held in Barcelona between March 25 and April 7. Currently the Artistic Commitee is evaluating carefully the information and audio samples sent by all applicants. We expect that on January 16, approximately, the results of the selection and the names of the accepted contestants will be announced.
We will post all the information we get on the preselection process as soon as we receive some new information from the Artistic Commitee.
